Native New Yorker from the South Bronx, Julio Matta is a songwriter, composer, percussionist, keyboardist, and music producer of Pop, Latin Pop, R&B, Jazz Fusion, Love Ballads, and Adult Contemporary music.  Julio has over 25 years of extensive performance experience with many well-known artists such as Jon Akerman; Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr., Klaus Doldinger, Gato Barbieri; La Conxion Latina, Lou Rauls, Justo Betancourt, and many others.

After a long sabbatical from music where he served in the armed forces, as well as pursued his education achieving his MPA, MBA, and Music Production degrees, as well as teaching ELS to foreign students at the university level, Julio now returns as a songwriter, composer, music producer of his own musical creations.  Julio produces songs with an experimental musical idea-using musician from diverse nationalities and universal backgrounds in music to create a unique sound within his musical productions.
